Let’s take a look at the fall fashion
It’s FALL and things are going back to normal.
I hope you all had a great summer.
I just found out from the Oakville Beaver (our local newspaper), that I won
another Platinum Award for Best Esthetician according to their Reader’s Choice.
This is the fourth year in a row. WOW, it just blows me away.
Thank you, thank you, thank you for your patronage and support.
In this edition we take a look at the new fall fashion trends
and this season’s must-haves.
It’s all from slouchy knits to gothic chic to casual boy style!
Get into the groove with reworked ’80s staples: sharp-shouldered
blouson jackets, Japanese silhouettes,
leggings and punked-up plaids.
The stripes are bolder, the belts are wider, the layers are…
well, just more… and the shapes are unusual and bold.

The trend is still animal prints & skins.
This season hottest luxury look is python and snake along with
the leopard print.Classic and funky at the same time as well as formal
and casual. You can wear big & bold accessories, or just a splash of leopard print.
It looks good any which way you wear it. Mini with pleats (and tights),
or even just an animal print belt or scarf or a big hand bag with chains
will give you the right accent. If you’re really into current trends,
try the fantastic leopard print skinny jeans.
The colors are dark and magical.
Blacks, greys, deep rich reds (think of a rich Merlot),
and the silhouette is long, lean and feminine.
The style for clothes is still layers, chic skinny jeans and leggings.
Long cardigans with a shirt under etc. Layering and layering.
Just pile it on.
As for shoes, the trend is still Ballet Flats and Peep-toe Pumps.
The fabric of the ballet flats has changed to croc and even velvet,
and the shape has changed to pointed with gold accents.
A very fun & comfortable shoe to pair
with the skinny pants & layering of the fall.
If you like mini-skirts, they look terrific with a pretty flat.
Don’t go for mini-skirts with high heels.
The coats are luxe and dark, unless you like winter white or cream,
and the shapes are swinging.
The trend for hair – natural colored highlights. Blunt bangs.
Shine products for a real gloss.
Our Colour Preserve Shine Serum adds beautiful shine without
feeling greasy. Cost $22.00.
The makeup is smokey and subdued with neutral fall colours.
The cleopatra look is gone with the wind.
