If you have a mole that is getting bigger, changes shape, has an irregular edge,
changes colour, is multi-shaded, patchy, itchy or painful, bleeds, looks inflamed or is crusty, you should definitely go to the doctor immediately.
Research suggest that moles with 3 or more different shades of brown or black are very likely to be melanoma.
