is run by Shanette Seipt, founder and owner of L'Exquisite Day Spa. She was voted Best Esthetician five years in a row and won the Platinum Award. Shanette was nominated Entrepreneur of the year 2009. She is a medical esthetician and makeup artist with more than 25 years of hands-on experience. She specializes in facial rejuvenation and anti aging treatments and focuses on wellness.

has been Shanette's key phrase from the beginning when she started her business in 1984.

Born in Montreal and raised by her grandparents in Austria, Shanette completed her Diploma in Business in Austria. As a young teen she moved back to Montreal and lived there for 5 years. While visiting her grandfather Shanette met her husband. They got married in 1978 and moved to Toronto, Ontario. In 1982 their daughter Mireille was born. They split up in 1984. That's when Shanette first began her adventure into the Beauty world. Just divorced with a little daughter and no other family around Shanette took a nail course and founded L'Exquisite.

L'Exquisite started out by renting space from various Beauty Salons in downtown Oakville. For the first five years we offered only nail services While performing works of art on people’s hands during the day, Shanette, the owner, was busy attending courses at night, obtaining various certificates and diplomas at Sheridan College and other private schools, enhancing her knowledge in esthetics, skin care and make-up. Soon the clients who were having their nails done were also getting their waxing, pedicures, facials and make-up done. Steadily building a loyal customer base, Shanette decided it was time to open her own spa.

L'Exquisite Esthetics & Nails had its Grand Opening as a free-standing spa on Valentine's Day, 1997 in the heart of Oakville, on Nottinghill Gate Place, near the famous Glen Abbey Golf Course. L'Exquisite Salon had a facelift in August 2002 and little changes and upgrades happen on an ongoing basis. Shanette's little spa was open, airy, clean and modern. L’Exquisite got incorporated in 2003 and was called L'Exquisite Inc Esthetics, Nails, Spa. It was a cozy, quiet place on the second floor where Shanette attended to her clients personally. That has always been her specialty.

In 2005 Shanette expanded her spa once again. She relocated to the main floor and doubled her space. L'Exquisite Day Spa For Women & Men opened it's door in November 2005.

On Valentine's Day 2006 she celebrated her 9th anniversary at the plaza and the official Grand Opening of her new spa with trendy Chocolate spa treatments suitable for adults and kids.
